...this isn't turning into a baby blog. I just need to get all of the itty-bitty baby booties out of my system before the end of February. I made two more pairs in Project Spectrum FIRE-colors, and a too cute hat (pdf). Just look at that handle on top of the head!
I used this pattern again for the booties. I really like them because they're so versatile. And they stretch a lot, which is great, since I've come to the conclusion that I have absolutely no idea how small/big a newborn's foot is. They look huge in this picture, compared to the yarn ball "head". Oh well, I guess it's ok as long as they're not too small.

I like your different interpretations of the Christine's baby booties - very pretty. I've made a couple of pairs but have always just knit them as per the pattern. I hope it's sunny in Turku - it's sunny in Helsinki today.
Those ruffly booties are so pretty. I like how it makes the booties look dressed up and fancy. ;)
Vanha helppo ohje: vastasyntyneen jalkapohja on suunnilleen samanpituinen kuin äidin pikkusormen pituus.
Hi! Love the wee baby things. Remember, they do nothing but grow so anything you make is bound to fit sometime!
Can you e-mail me at karen dot KVL at verizon dot net? I have a question about the AlphaMonkey and I couldn't figure out how else to get in touch.
