My knitting bookcase (knitcase?) has been a hopeless mess for a while now, but yesterday I got myself together and did some organizing. You wouldn't believe the amount of yarn I've managed to cram into this small space! If I open the lid of the plastic tub or move the basket, the risk of a yarn explosion in our living room is imminent.
I even have a system: nice yarn in the nice basket, project spectrum FIRE yarn in the plastic bag, not so nice yarn hidden away in the plastic tub, Rowanspun 4 ply in the white basket. My WIP's are in the canvas bag with flowers on it, and my WIP yarns are "on display". I feel so clean!
Now, if I could just stop thinking about pulling out all the Project Spectrum EARTH yarns just to see how much I have...

I better not show you what my yarn pile looks like then. I feel so cluddered compaired to your neat knitcase.
WOW! Wish my knitting stuff was at least half as organized...
Hehehe, I have the same dilemma. :-)
doesn't it feel great to get organized? looks very nice!
you aren't the only one thinking about earth colors - i am looking forward to it myself!
Nice. Organised. As it should be. Unlike mine... *sigh*
Royal ballwinder and a Glimakra umbrella swift yarn winder up top?
Me too! I loves ma ballwinder and swift :)
I like the addition of the money plant to your well organized shelf! Now all your knitting ideas will flow just like the plant!
It looks so organised! Great. I have to move to get the same effect..:-)
One word; RESPECT!
